I miss being little.
When dragons were in my imagination
And I could count on my knight in shining armor to rescue me
    He always would come

I miss being little
When the worst thing someone could do was tattle
And to feel better you called them a tattle-tale
And you would forget about it the next day

I miss being little
When boys were icky and had cooties
And touching them meant you got cooties
    They couldn't hurt you then...

I miss being little
When tears were shed over a skinned knee
And the death of Mufasa in The Lion King
A kiss would make everything better

I miss being little
When you had a bad dream you could climb into Mom and Dad's bed
Not sit alone crying through the night
And keeping your pain to yourself

I miss being little
    Life was simpler then
Not so full of drama and fights
    And friends were really forever
I want to be that way again.
Can I?
This is one of my favorites to date... I have been looking at picture of when I was little and thinking a lot about that time.
